Comprehensive plan commission to meet in Chaseburg

The Vernon County Comprehensive Plan Commission is holding a neighborhood listening session at the Chaseburg Village Hall on Thursday, June 26, at 7:30 p.m.

The neighborhood listening sessions will give participants an overview of the county planning process, and then ask for citizens to voice their concerns and vision for the future. The areas to be discussed are housing, transportation, ag, natural and cultural resources, economic development, utilities and community facilities, intergovernmental cooperation and land use.

The results of the session will be summarized and communicated to the work groups that are crafting these chapters of the plan. The results will also be used to create a survey that will be distributed in late fall.
