The skies above the city of Westby will be blazing with color on Friday evening, July 4th, when the annual fireworks display lights up the skies.
The annual display will provide 20-30 minutes of fast-moving blasts, before the flag lighting finale.
The event will be held at dusk in the Westby Industrial Park, with a rain date of Sunday, July 6, if inclement weather forces the event to be postponed.
On the 4th at 6 p.m. a burger cook-off will be held in the parking lot of Bethesda Church, on Park Street. The cook-off will be a competition between area church congregations to make the best burger. Spectators will be able to sample the end results.
